Rear brake – Measure the distance of the brake pedal in rest condition to take hold. It should be 20 – 30 mm(0.8-1.2inch).

Adjust it from rear brake adjusting net.

Others check

  • Make sure about the brake rod.
  • Brake arm.

  • Use unleaded petrol with a research octane no of 91 or higher.
  • The use of leaded petrol will cause premature damage to the catalytic converter.

(Catalytic converter located in the exhaust system of the bike.)

NOTE– If spark knocks or pinking occurs at a steady engine speed under normal load, change brand of petrol if spark knock or pinking persists then kindly consult your mechanic.

If you decide to use petrol containing alcohol (gasohol) be sure its octane rating at least as high as that recommended by your bikes company.

Engine oil

Check the engine oil before every ride.

Tyres-

  • Check tyre it should be proper tire and size.
  • Check air pressure (when your tires are cold at least parked for three hour).

—If you will check reading when your tire warm then reading will come higher as comparison to cold one.

The recommend cold tyre pressure are

                       Kpa (kgf/cm2 ,psi)

Driver-    front 175(1.75,25)

               Rear  225(2.25,33)

Driver and one passenger – front 175(1.75,25)

                                               Rear 280(2.80,41)
